This privacy statement explains our policies and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we collect in connection with our lost and found services.
What personal data do we process?
When a passenger reports a lost item at Sarajevo International Airport, we will generally collect personal information such as their name, contact information (e.g. phone number and email address) and a description of the lost item. When picking up a lost item, we collect additional personal data such as the number of a personal document (identity card, passport, etc.) and the personal signature of the owner of the lost item/luggage.
Why do we process this personal data?
We need this information to identify and contact the owner of the lost item and to link the lost item to any found items, and to adequately record the owner's collection of the item. Personal data in the records of users of the services of the Lost and Found Baggage Department are processed for the purpose of enforcing legal rights and obligations regarding lost and found items.
How long do we keep this personal data?
Information in the lost and found process is kept for a period of 5 years.
Who do we share this personal information with?
Personal data collected in this process is not shared with external parties. An exception may be the fulfillment of legal obligations in connection with police investigations and similar circumstances.
