Representatives of Sarajevo International Airport attended a final conference in Vienna and as a part of the same the results of all Danova Project participants were summarised. This officially ended the Danova Project whose goal was to improve accessibility of travelling to blind and partially blind persons by developing new set of services and competences in order to allow them to have a full access to all transportation information and services.
The conference was attended by the representatives of the Sarajevo Canton Association for the Blind who addressed the audience in order to express their gratitude to Sarajevo International Airport for the participation and successfully ended the Danova Project and they emphasized the importance of these and similar projects in the future.
The project lasted 30 months (July 1, 2020 – December 31, 2022) with a total budget of 2.192.546,66 EUR and it connected partners from nine different countries that were motivated to work together in order to make transportation infrastructure more accessible.
