Representatives of Sarajevo International Airport participated at 4th transnational project meeting as a part of Danova project, which was held in Budapest in Hungary.
The project manager on behalf of Sarajevo International Airport, Berin Riđanović, presented the results achieved so far in relation to the previous meeting, and the upcoming plans of the team and informed the partners of the project that the content of the webpage of Sarajevo International Airport is adapted to the needs of blind and partially blind people.
As a part of the project, Management Training for personnel was held as well as the visit to Budapest Airport. At the beginning of October, the training of personnel is going to be held in Sarajevo by the Croatian Association of the Blind.
The aim of DANOVA project is to improve the accessibility of travelling to blind and partially sighted people by developing a set of new services and competences in order to allow them to have a full access to all services and transportation information. The project in duration of 30 months (01 July 2020 – 31 December 2022) and with a total budget of 2.192.546,66 EUR brings together partners from 9 different countries motivated to work together so as to make transportation facilities more accessible.
