Winter flight schedule is effective as of 25th October 2020 at Sarajevo International Airport, with scheduled flights of 11 airline companies. A novelty is a resumption of the Lufthansa airline company which should fly four times per week on a route Sarajevo – Munich. This company's first flight, on a route established before, was on Sunday, 25th October 2020 and the flights should be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline company Turkish Airlines at its route Sarajevo - Istanbul has introduced a new schedule which would include an overnight stay of their aircraft in the capital of B&H for the purpose of an early take-off for Istanbul the following morning.
This air carrier plans to have everyday flights between the two cities during the upcoming winter season. These air carriers' aircraft will come to Sarajevo at 20:50 and go back to Istanbul at 07:30 the following day.
Taking into consideration this is the most wanted route destination for the passengers from Sarajevo, the airline company Pegasus plans to increase the number of flights for Istanbul, and it shall land to this city six times per week, but at the airport Sabiha Gökçen.
It is expected for the airline company Wizz Air to resume flights for Budapest two times per week as of December (14th December 2020). It is the same month that the airline company Eurowings should resume flights for Köln and Stuttgart as well as the airline company Norwegian for Stockholm.
The passengers shall have the possibility to fly to Belgrade by the airline company Air Serbia five times a week and the airline company Flydubai shall connect Sarajevo and Dubai four times a week.
The flights have already been resumed by airline companies Austrian Airlines to Vienna and by Croatia Airlines to Zagreb.
Please be reminded that due to the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the situation with the flights is constantly changing and the airline companies reserve the right to change the flight schedule.
