AtlasGlobal today has started its flights from Sarajevo to Istanbul
Turkish airline AtlasGlobal marked this morning at Sarajevo Airport a start of its new air service between Sarajevo and Istanbul. This is the third air carrier operating from Sarajevo to Istanbul, after Turkish Airlines and Pegasus.
Fligths from Sarajevo to Istanbul, from Sarajevo International Airport to the International Airport Kemal Ataturk will be taken four times a week – on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Sarajevo.
Dırector of Sarajevo International Airport, Mr Armin Kajmakovıć said:
”We are glad that AtlasGlobal, the airline with a fleet of 26 of new Airbus aircraft, that flies to 50 destinations in 35 countries in Europe and Asia, has now recognized Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a promising tourist and business destination. This scheduled air service now offers our passengers another option of traveling to Istanbul, i.e. to the biggest Turkish airport Ataturk which is one of the biggest transfer hub in the world.”
Director of AtlasGlobal, Mr Recep Emanet explained that by starting this new air service, this airline continues to extend its network from East to West.
"By adding new air services to our network in Europe, Middle East, Ukraine, Russia and CIS region, we have achieved 50 destinations and thus increased a number of connected flights we can offer", said Emanet and added: "In Bosnia and Herzegovina, like at any other market, we will try to become the airline of passengers' choice. The event at Sarajevo Airport was attended by numerous guests, including the Turkish ambassador in BiH, H.E. Haldun Koc.
