August increase of air traffic at Sarajevo International Airport

Increase of air traffic at Sarajevo International Airport was recorded in August of the current year.
During August the Sarajevo airport recorded 88.591 passengers, what makes the increase of 11% in comparison with the same month last year. The increase is laso recorded in respect of air traffic operations. There were 609 flights in August what is 12% more than last year.
Regarding cargo, a total of 148.836 kg of commercial, i.e. civil cargo was recorded, what makes an increase of 4% in comparison with the same month in 2013.
In August Sarajevo International Airport also marked the 18th anniversary of the post war re-opening. From that moment till today this Airport has processed almost 8 million passengers.
The air trafic figures are likely to keep growing in the forthcoming peridod, too.
