Air Traffic figures at Sarajevo International Airport continued to grow through March

Air traffic figures at Sarajevo International Airport continued to grow through March of the current year, too.
Namely, during March there were 45.789 passengers, what makes an increase of 3% in comparison with the same month last year. The increase is also registered in respect of air traffic operations, i.e. 439 in March what is for 8% more compared to the same period last year.
In March we handled 116.548 kg of commercial cargo, what makes the increase of 12% than in the same month of the previous year.
According to the summer time-table that started on 30.03.2014, Germanwings will launch a new air service from 15 April, that will connect Sarajevo to Berlin. There will be two flights a week (Tuesday and Thursday), taking off from Sarajevo at 09:35 hrs local time, and landing in Berlin at 11:25 hrs. Departure from Berlina wil be at 07:05 hrs and arrival to Sarajevo at 08:55 hrs local time.
Growth of air traffic figures at Sarajevo Interntional Airport is expected to continue in the forthcoming period, too.
