Successful audit of compliance with the international ISO standards

Comprehensive efforts of both the Management and employees of the P.C. „SARAJEVO“ International Airport LLC Sarajevo resulted in a successful end of the ISO standards audit.
Auditors from a certified company TÜV Croatia d.o.o., a member of TÜV NORD group, in presence of the Sarajevo International Airport representatives, conducted the third audit of the quality management systems and environmental protection in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004.
They also conducted a certified audit of the information security management systems ISO/IEC 27001:2013, as a newly established management system at Sarajevo International Airport. Namely, this is a basic standard in respect of the information security. Purpose of this system is to protect the information assets of the Company, as well the users of air port services and business partners from all the threats which could have far-reaching effects if they compromised confidentiality, integrity or accessibility of the information assets.
Owing to the establishement of the mentioned systems, Sarajevo International Airport has become of very few BiH companies that fully adjusts its working processes to the international standards: ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004, and 27001:2013.
The certificate on compliance with the international standards is an additional impetus for Sarajevo International Airport to keep investing into its development and thus continue an upturn of its services and a positive business trend in the future.
