Sarajevo Airport keeps doing a flourishing business

Sarajevo International Airport has been running a business successfully for years and such a trend has been present in 2013, too.
According to the semi-annual report, all profit-making centres have realized an increase of revenues
( cargo, trade, catering, complementary services), and the biggest rise has been registered in our primary business - ground handling of passengers and aircraft.
In first six months of the year there were 303.829 passengers, what is 15% more in comparison with the same period last year!
The number of air operations reached the figure of 2.603, what is 2% more compared to the same period previous year!
The number of passengers is expected to keep increasing during the summer season when there are usually more flights. In this summer season there are 10 scehduled airlines operating from Sarajevo Airport (three of them being low-cost carriers), as well as a lot of charter airlines that transport passengers to attractive tourist destinations.
There are also new airlines, both scheduled and low-cost ones, that expressed their interest to operate from Sarajevo Airport. The Airport is always ready to negotiate and render support, i.e. to offer incentive prices for introduction of new air services.
Regarding Sarajevo International Airport's continuous efforts to improve the quality of its services, it should be mentioned that its restaurant „Aerodrom“ has recently been redecorated. The restaurant, open for visits every day from 0:7 do 22:00 hrs, offers not only good food but also a unique view of the runway.
Another redecorated facility at the Airport is the Business lounge. Due to its tasteful furniture and sophisticated technological equipment, the lounge offer top comfort and conveniences to its visitors.
