On Friday, July 4th, a meeting was held at Sarajevo International Airport between representatives of the Lufthansa Group and the management of Sarajevo Airport. The Lufthansa Group delegation was led by Mr. Fabian Camichel, Director of Ground Operations for Southern Europe within the Lufthansa Group. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ismar Ibrahimović, Director of Ground Operations at Sarajevo Airport and Dubrovnik Airport within the Lufthansa Group, as well as Mr. Abdurahman Popara, Deputy Station Manager.
The Sarajevo International Airport delegation included Acting Director Mr. Sanin Ramezić, Mr. Edi Hasanović, Director of the Traffic Sector, Ms. Vedrana Vikić Musić, Director of the Airport Services Sector, Ms. Mirzeta Šehović Kadić, Assistant Director of the Airport Services Sector, and Mr. Tarik Čanić, Associate for Airline Operations Management.
The visit, which included a working meeting, was assessed as constructive. In addition to operational matters, discussions also focused on improving ground handling services and expanding future cooperation. Joint steps and goals to be pursued in the coming period were defined during the meeting.
