We inform passengers and visitors of Sarajevo International Airport that there is currently no room for prayer at Sarajevo International Airport.
Namely, Sarajevo International Airport is currently in the phase of significant infrastructure projects, which aim to improve the level of our services and the overall satisfaction of passengers, business partners and other users. When completed, the new terminal will have a capacity to serve 2 million passengers annually or twice the current capacity. All this is precisely one of reasons why there is not enough space at the moment, i.e. there is no place where prayers would be performed, in accordance with security and all other necessary standards. This situation is temporary and, upon completion of this project, significantly modernized terminal will be available to passengers and other users, with modern ancillary facilities, including several prayer rooms inside the terminal, before and after passport and customs controls.
