Another record year at Sarajevo International Airport

In 2018 Sarajevo International Airport had 1.046.635 passengers, what is the increase of 9.2 % in comparison with 2017. Most passengers were recorded in July and August when there were almost 160.000 passengers.
It was the first time in history of Sarajevo International Airport that more than 150.000 passengers had been recorder in one month. Furthermore, for the first time in history Sarajevo International Airport recorded the millionth passenger early December.
The number of air traffic operations has also recorded the increase of 5% in comparison with 2017. In the period from 01.01 - 31.12.2018 there were 13.432 air traffic operations.
In the previous year 2.508.643 kg of commercial cargo were delivered from Sarajevo International Airport.
