Record number of processed passengers: around 160.000 passengers in July

In July Sarajevo International Airport handled 159.380 passengers, what makes the increase of 14% in comparison with the same month last year. It should be emphasized that this is the biggest figure in history of the airport in respect of the processed passengers in one month.
There were 1.573 air traffic operations in July, what is for 11% more than in the same month last year.
Since January 1 till July 31 of the current year the Airport has handled 589.522 passengers in total, what makes the 13% growth in comparison with the same period in the previous year. There have been 7.735 flights what makes the 6% increase compared to the same period last year.
In context of the fact that the existing capacities of Terminal building have practically been put to maximum use, it is important to highlight that these great results have been achieved due to exceptionally dedicated work of Sarajevo Airport employees.
At the moment there are 17 scheduled airlines operating from Sarajevo International Airport and several charter carriers having flights only during the summer season.
