Ambassador of the Libyan Republic on Visit to Sarajevo International Airport

The Libyan Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina, His Excellency Salem Kafu, has yesterday visited Sarajevo International Airport. The meeting with Mr. Ivan Veličan, director of the P.C. „SARAJEVO“ International Airport LLC Sarajevo, scheduled on initiative of the Libyan Ambassador, was aimed at a build-up of cooperation between the Sarajevo Airport and the Embassy of Libya in Sarajevo.
One of the topics was a possibility of re-establishing of airlift with Libyan Republic, i.e. starting the air service Tripoli- Sarajevo.
Mr. Veličan believes there are good reasons for introduction of the air service Tripoli – Sarajevo, like tourism, economy and cargo transport. He adds that Sarajevo International Airport is at disposal for cooperation and provision of technical and marketing support to airlines, as well as for offering incentive prices for new air services.
The Libyan Ambassador extended his gratitude for the visit and willingness to further strengthen friendly relations between the Libyan Embassy and Sarajevo International Airport, and finally wished success in future activities of the Airport company.
