Promotional flight from BiH to Moscow about to happen
Within the International Economy Fair 'Mostar 2013' yesterday was held a meeting about opening a direct air service Sarajevo-Moscow, as well as Mostar-Moscow and Banja Luka-Moscow at a later date.
The meeting was organized by the BiH Ministry of Communications and Transport, FBiH Ministry Environment and Tourism and FBiH Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The meeting was attended by the BiH Minister of communications and transport Damir Hadžić, FBiH Minister of environment and tourism Branka Đurić, FBiH Minister of transport and communications Enver Bijedić , directors of the airports Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka, and the director of Moskovia airlines Mikhail Alekseev with his associates.
Director of Sarajevo International Airport,Mr. Ivan Veličan, said that Moskovija airlines would have a full technical and marketing support and also invited representatives of the Russian Carrier to visit Sarajevo for continuation of negotiations where more precise arrangements regarding establishemnt of the air service Sarajevo-Moscow could be realized.
On the meeting was concluded that the Russians are getting more interested in BiH as a torustic destination and that the Federation is doing its best to speed up the development of the tourism.
The Minister Branka Đurić announced the promotional flights from BiH to Moscow as early as in May or June.
