BHDCA's Professional Supervision at the Sarajevo International Airport

At the Sarajevo International Airport yesterday was successfully performed professional supervision.
BHDCA's team of experts, in presence of the Sarajevo International Airport's representatives, conducted a regular professional supervision in order to define the condition and implementation of regulations in respect of the following:

• Basic information about the airport, physical characteristics of airport surfaces, marking of the airport and airport surfaces in the daytime, condition of maneuvering surfaces, restriction of obstacles at the airport
• Airport lighting system and electric power plants
• Contingency Plan
• Safety of civil aviation
• Rescue and firefighting service

Based on conducted professional supervision, it is concluded that the Sarajevo International Airport has satisfied all requirements imposed by the Law on BiH Aviation and relevant regulations, as well as the standards and recommendations in compliance with ICAO 14.
