Certificate of aerodrome for public use

A short ceremony was organized at the International Airport "Sarajevo" d.o.o. on the occasion of awarding to this airport the CERTIFICATE OF AERODROME FOR PUBLIC USE. Mister Djorđe RATKOVICA, Director General of the BiH Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA), accompanied by the BHDCA Deputy Director General Mr. Dželal HASEČIĆ and their assistants handed over the Certificate to Mr. Bakir KARAHASANOVIĆ, General Manager of JP International Airport "Sarajevo" d.o.o. the PC Sarajevo International Airport Ltd. On the occasion of the awarding the Certificate it was stressed that this was the first airport in BiH, and in the narrower region of the South-East Europe, which was awarded a Certificate of Aerodrome for Public Use in accordance with the latest standards and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The issuance of this Certificate, recorded under registration number T-9-A-001, proves technical and staffing capability of the International Airport "Sarajevo" to comply with all requirements of the international legislation in the area of civil aviation.
