Sarajevo International Airport Open for Air Traffic

Today, on 10.09.2005, upon completion of the final inspection conducted by the State Committee of experts in charge of civil aviation of B&H, in presence of the Contractor and Sarajevo International Airport representatives, it has been concluded as follows: According to the finding of the Committee, all the criteria imposed by the Law on Aviation of B&H have been fullfilled and the airport is going to be put into normal operation from 23.59 on 10 September 2005. We hereby inform the public and passengers that Sarajevo International Airort is to continue normal air traffic operations from 11.09.2005. Management and employees of Sarajevo International Airport wish to thank all its users for the understanding they showed during the runway sanation which greatly contributed to the operational and safety conditions of the airport.
